San Diego, CA
Living in San Diego
The City of San Diego is the largest city in the county. This page covers most of its neighborhoods, from Downtown, Little Italy and the Gaslamp Quarter to Hillcrest, North Park, City Heights, Point Loma, Pacific Beach, Clairemont and Mira Mesa.
Balboa Park, San Diego Bay and Mission Bay are the big shared spaces. Each neighborhood has its own character, from downtown high-rises to craftsman streets and beach blocks.

- Schools
- San Diego Unified serves most of these neighborhoods. A few in the north, such as Rancho Peñasquitos, are in Poway Unified.
- Getting around
- Interstates 5, 8, 15 and 805 and State Route 163. The trolley serves Downtown, Old Town, Mission Valley and the UC San Diego area.
